Originally opened as Bay's Corner over 30 years ago, our restaurant has become a beloved institution in historic downtown Sylva, North Carolina. What started as a small local eatery has evolved into what we proudly call "Great Food with an Asian Flair" and has become a real hotspot among the locals.

Owner and Chef Josh Cecero is excited to keep the tradition of Bay's Corner alive, creating fresh, delicious food just for you! Chef Josh brings passion and dedication to every dish, ensuring that each meal maintains the authentic flavors and quality that have made us a local favorite for over three decades.

🍽️ Our Signature Style

Entrees are served over rice and include your choice of toppings, including many fresh vegetables, at no extra charge. Our Cheezy Chicken entree is a local favorite and has been our signature dish since the very beginning.

We also offer rice bowls which are a side-by-side combination of fresh romaine lettuce and rice, topped off with a flavorful sesame ginger Asian dressing and your choice of toppings. Additional side items provide an even greater variety of options and allow you to customize your meal exactly the way you want.

🏞️ Community Dining

Although we do not have dine-in seating, the town of Sylva has provided a picnic area directly across the street from Backstreet Takeout for your convenience. This beautiful outdoor space allows you to enjoy your fresh, hot meal while taking in the charm of historic downtown Sylva.
